Background
As a graduate of ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy), the preeminent ICF-certified training academy for ADHD life coaches, I hold an AACC (Associate ADHD Certified Coach) credential in adult, children and family ADHD coaching.
Before becoming a coach, I worked as a communications consultant for higher education institutions, non-profits, and small businesses. Prior to that, I was a as middle-school and high-school English Language Arts teacher and literacy coach. In true ADHD fashion, I’ve had many “careers” and spent my 20s working in the entertainment industry as an actress, singer, writer, and assistant producer. I have also spent time working, volunteering, photographing, and consulting at animal sanctuaries around the country and spend my extra time rescuing and caring for displaced and abused animals. My hobbies and interests include photography, writing, reading, film, bird watching, gardening, and cooking healthy plant-based meals.
I welcome adults of all ages, genders, races, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I also coach college students and older teens in their final years of high school who may need to improve executive functioning and sharpen their skills to enter college or the workforce.
